I understand that undergoing medical procedures can be stressful. However, they are a necessary part of the workup so that we can best figure out what is causing your problems and develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Most of the stress, I have found, comes from not knowing what to expect during your procedure. As a way of helping to reduce this stress, I have composed separate procedural pages to help you better understand the procedure you are having, why it is important and what to expect.
